Custom Wood Turnings

Wells has extensive experience is manufacturing and finishing a wide variety of custom wood turnings for commercial and industrial applications. We produce Wooden Bushings, Wooden Rollers, Wooden Insulators, Wooden Wire Spools, Wooden Thread Spools, Wooden Spacers, Wooden Flag Finials, Wooden Curtain Finials, Wooden Plugs and Wooden Bottle Caps.

We regularly produce custom wooden turnings that have holes in one or both ends, contain cross bored holes, have tenons that need to fit a mating part or have thru holes that fitting parts need to fit smoothly through.

Special care is taken to ensure the turnings meet the required specifications. For instance, our experienced team knows to allow for shrinkage if the part is being finished, we know how best to finish the custom turnings if we’ll be printing on it, and we know the best drill size to use for installing dowels screws or hanger bolts in different specie.
