Wood Species Used For Custom Wood Turnings

Most of our custom wood turnings are made from White Birch. It is an economical wood which turns well and takes finishes more uniformly than some other specie. We maintain an extensive stock in a variety of species (green and dry) to meet the short lead times customers have come to expect from us. We can work with your wood or yours and extensive network of suppliers allows us to source wood for special projects at competitive prices.

Species that we turn include:

• White Birch
• Yellow Birch
• Ash
• Hard Maple
• Soft Maple
• Poplar
• Cherry
• Hickory
• Dymondwood (Used Primarily in Game Calls)
